FYI: Holy Week Services
March 31/April 1: Palm Sunday Masses: Sat. 5:30pm, Sun. 8:15am & 10:45am
April 5: Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord's Supper at 5:30pm with
Adoration & First Communion "Bread Party" following Mass
April 6: Good Friday Service at 5:30pm
April 7: Easter Vigil at 8:30pm
April Mass Schedule Change:
There is a change of Mass times on April 22:
There will be NO 10:45 Mass that day, due to the celebration of First Communion at 12:00noon.
Anointing of the Sick
The school Mass on Thursday, April 19 at 9:00am offers all parishioners an opportunity to celebrate the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick. You may wish to be anointed if you suffer from a chronic illness, are facing surgery, or are elderly. Rolls, juice, and coffee will be served following Mass in O'Hagan Hall.
Metro Celebration of Confirmation
All metro parishes will be celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation on Friday, April 13th at 7:00pm at Columbus High School.
First Communion Celebration
We will celebrate First Communion on Sunday, April 22nd at 12:00noon.
There will be NO 10:45 Mass that day!
Introduction to Catholicism
If you are interested in learning more about the Catholic faith and traditions, you may want to participate in an eight-week program which will explore the fundamental principles of the Catholic faith and how they are expressed and experienced in Catholic teaching and practice. U.S. Immigration Policy: A Catholic Justice Forum
Monday, April 16 at 7:00pm in O'Hagan Hall
This program will explore the major themes of the U.S. and Mexican bishops' joint pastoral letter Strangers No More.
(Co-sponsored by the Catholic Parishes of Waterloo and Cedar Valley Pax Christi)
