LITTLE ROCK SCRIPTURE STUDY
Women in the Old Testament
This study introduces readers to women
whose stories offer courage and insight.
Plan to attend this 5 week series during Lent. We will meet on Mondays from 1:30 to 3:00 pm in the
Rectory Classroom starting on February 15, 2010.
Cost for the study guide is $13.00.
Please pre-register by calling the parish office at 234-4996.
Notify Nancy if handicap accessibility is needed.

Children's Liturgy of the Word on Sundays
NEW Opportunity for Families & Children!!
Beginning on December 13th, we will be offering a new opportunity for families with younger children.
We are inviting children ages 4-10 to participate in a Children’s Liturgy of the Word.
Adult leaders will guide children through the readings for the Mass.
This is scheduled for the second and fourth Sundays of each month at our 10:45 Mass.

January 10 & 24, 2010
February 14 & 28, 2010
March 14 & 28, 2010
April 11 & 25, 2010
May 9 & 23, 2010
and on . . .

Children will process out of Mass following the Opening Prayer
and will return to Mass at Offertory time for the children’s collection.
After they have placed their offering envelope in the basket,
they will return to their families in the pew.

There is no cost and no registration necessary to participate in this program.
Just bring your children & have fun with this new program!

Listening Sessions meet at 7:00pm. in Room 1
at Kimball Ridge Center (former Schoitz Hospital)

Are you angry about some church-related issue? Have you been hurt or rejected by a church person? Has your present marital status left you estranged or unwelcome in the Catholic Church? Are you participating in another church but still feel that “I’m a Catholic and I’ll always be a Catholic.” Do you feel uncomfortable saying “I’m a spiritual person but I’m not religious?” Would you like someone to listen to the events, people or circumstances which brought you to your present religious status?

These listening sessions are an opportunity to discuss your past, present or future relationship to the Catholic faith community in a safe, discrete, and welcoming environment. We’re here to listen, not to judge. If there is some way we can be helpful to you in your present spiritual circumstance, we will arrange whatever additional help or assistance you desire as a followup to the listening session.
