Adult Confirmation Preparation
A Confirmation Preparation Process for adults ages 19-90 will be held on Wednesdays February 7, 14, 28 and March 7 & 21 from 6:30-8:00pm at Blessed Sacrament School. Joining other Catholic adults who have not been confirmed, you will review the sacraments of initiation and be offered an update in Catholic beliefs and practices. Several options are available as to how and when you may celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation during the Easter season. Call Pam at 234-8394 for more details or to register for the sessions. There are no fees. This program is sponsored by the Waterloo metro parishes.
Rite of Christian Reception of Adults
The Waterloo metro parishes will sponsor an information meeting for individuals interested in the Rite of Christian Reception on Feb. 8 at Blessed Sacrament. The next RCIA process for individuals who are baptized, catechized and active in another Christian tradition begins on Feb. 28 at Blessed Sacrament. Call Pam at 234-8394 for more details or to register for the sessions.
"A Lenten Journey to Reconciliation and Peace," our shared Lenten program, begins on Monday, Feb. 26th. All four sessions will be held in O'Hagan Hall at Sacred Heart. The format will include a presentation, reflection, discussion, evening prayer and fellowship. Watch for a bulletin insert with complete information on Feb. 16-17.

Theology on Tap
The first session of Cedar Valley Theology on Tap will begin on Friday evening, Feb. 23, with Fr. Doug Wathier from Loras College. All six sessions will be held on the lower level at Beck's Sports Bar & Grill. Beck's is contributing the space and will offer Lenten meal specials to those who participate.
A local website, will provide information about the sessions and an audio recording of each presentation. The Archdiocese of Dubuque Office of Youth and Young Adult Ministry is contributing $500.00 to start-up expenses for our first series.
