Elementary Religious Education (CCD)
CCD registration for students attending public schools (grades 1-8) is ongoing. Students and families are welcome at any time of year.  Our program includes regular religion classes, a human growth and development curriculum, and intergenerational family nights, as well as Masses, Prayer Services, Penance Services, and visits from the Pastor and Deacon.  New families are asked to bring a copy of your child's baptismal certificate at the time you enroll in classes.

C.O.R.E. (Cooperative Opportunities in Religious Education)
Religion classes for students attending public high schools (grades 9-12) are held at Columbus High School on Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00p.m.  These classes are scheduled in nine-week sessions and offered first & second semester of each year.

First semester dates are: Sept. 21, 28, Oct. 5, 12, 19, 26, Nov. 2, 9, 16
Second semester dates are: Feb. 15, 22, 29, March 7, 21, 28, April 4, 11, 18. NO CLASSES on March 14th.

These classes provide basic religious education and are similar to the courses taught at Columbus High School.  Annie Zeets (239-0163) is the CORE coordinator for all participating parishes.
Students MAY NOT participate in any parish Confirmation program without basic high school level religion courses, so it is important to enroll in these classes!
Registration flyers will be mailed directly to all Sacred Heart public high school families. Please watch your mail for the flyers and return them to the address listed on the flyer.  If you have any questions, please call Pam Johnston at 234-8394.
