On October 24, the boys basketball season began with the Varsity Boys Jamboree. The Cardinals played 1/2 of basketball against St. John's St. Pat's and St. Ed's. Although full games were not played the team ended up on top of the score in each of the contests. On Monday the JV defeated St. A's in an exciting game to begin the new season. The Varsity Girls Volleyball team finished their season on a winning note by winning the back side consolation bracket in the league tournament.

With the middle of October not far away fall sports at Sacred Heart will be winding up. The CV football teams have learned much and our boys have developed new friendships. The 7th and 8th grade teams will finish their season on Tuesday Oct. 13. The girls volleyball teams will be finishing the season on Oct. 17/18 with the JV Tournament @ St. Pat's and the Varsity will begin their tournament on Monday Oct. 19 at Blessed Sacrament. The 6th grade girls finished 2nd in their tournament. Boys basketball practice will begin on Thursday Oct. 15 and they will open play with the league jamboree on Oct. 24
