Congratulations Cardinal Wrestlers. The Sacred Heart wrestling team won the league wrestling tournament championship on Sunday
Dec. 17. This is the 1st time in 12 years that the Cardinals have been the champion team in wrestling. Congratulations to all the boys and their coaches Derrick Woods and Randy Kelsey and their assistants for their fine efforts this season. A presentation of the trophy and awards assembly will be held on Friday Jan. 5 at 3pm in the gym.
All three girls basketball teams 6th, JV and Varsity have been enjoying much success this season. All have many victories and few loses so far. The girls tournaments begins in the middle of January.
Boys basketball practice for all three teams begins on December 27. The schedule is posted on the calendar web site.

The Cardinals girls basketball teams have done very well in recent weeks. The varsity team has recently defeated St. Pat's, Blessed Sacrament and IC/St. Joe's. They have a couple of games to go before the Christmas break. The Cardinal wrestlers placed second in the Blessed Sacrament league tournament losing to IC/St. Joe's by 3 points. A few days later they again lost to IC/St. Joe's in a very close match in Gilbertville. They have recent victories over St. Joe's, St. John's, and St. Ed's. The 4 -5-6 league tournament will be held Dec. 17 12 pm
@Don Bosco and the JV/Varsity tournament on Dec. 17 1:30 pm @ Columbus.
