The Cardinal Football Team finished their season with a perfect 6 - 0 record. The team dominated both offense and defense averaging over 30 points a game and the 1st unit defense gave up only one touchdown in all games. The team was lead by the fine quarterbacking of Craig Konrardy and running of Austin Ross. Other backs were Shane Kemp, Aaron Boesen and Danny Zeets. The Line was very strong and owned the field. Linemen were lead by Andrew Street, Miles Meyers and Nick Mills, also making great contributions were Jacob Van Biesen, Phinehas Starks, David Bruer, and David Reuter. Casey Gilles also would have added much but suffered a season ending injury in the first game with a broken elbow. Coaches Amundson, Boesen, and Shimp were very proud of the Class shown by the team throughout the entire season. This is arguably the finest team that has played at Sacred Heart.
The Varsity Volleyball Team also had a fine finish to their season. They went into the league tournament as the top seeded team with only one loss on their record. However in the semi-final match of the tournament they were upset by IC/St. Joe's. The team finished with a 3rd place finish in the league tournament. The Junior Varsity team finished second in their pool play league tournament.
