The Cardinal Grapplers placed second in the league tournament which was held at Don Bosco on Sunday Dec. 9. The Cardinals had three champions and two second place finishes. The team finished the dual meet season with a record of 6-2.
The Girls Basketball team was defeated by St. Ed's in both games on Monday night. They have two games remaining before the Christmas break. On Monday they play IC/St. Joes and on Thursday Dec. 20 they will make up the game with Blessed Sacrament that was postphoned due to weather. Both games are at home beginning at 5:30 pm.

After the Thanksgiving Break the Cardinal's have been busy. The JV and Varsity Girls defeated St. Pat's and the Wrestlers have wins over St. Ed's, St. Athanasius and St. John's. The girls play Blessed Sacrament at home on Thursday and the wrestlers finish their dual meet season at home on Friday vs IC/St. Joe's. The Knights are the only team that has beaten the Cardinal Grapplers this year so this should be an interesting meet. The League Tournament will be held on Sunday Dec. 9 beginning at 1:30 at Don Bosco.
