It won't be long and we will be thinking about fall sports and the start of school. All Athletes will need to get a sports physical before participating again in the 08-09 school year. Some changes will occur to our sports calendar next year. Volleyball season will be from
Aug. 19 to the end of October. Football will be shared with Blessed Sacrament and will be from Aug. 19 to Oct. 5. Boys basketball season will be from Oct. 13 to Dec. 19. Wrestllng and girls basketball season will be after Jan. 1 and will end before spring break. The spring sports schedule will remain the same. Further updates will be posted on our web site as information becomes available.

The Varsity Boys Baseball team captured the League Tournament Championship winning all their games and finishing the season with a perfect record. The Cardinals won all their regular season games as well as all the games in the tournament. Congratulations to the athletes, their parents and Coaches Buhr and VanBesien on a Great Season. The Varsity girls also had a good tournament upsetting Blessed Sacrament. The team did not place in the tournament however they did have a good showing in all games. Again congratulations to all the athletes, their parents and coaches. The Track team also did very well placing 2nd in the overall scoring of the track meets. Several boys had first place finishes in individual as well as relay events.

The JV Baseball Tournament is scheduled for Sat. May 10 beginning at 8:30 on the Dane Field. The Cardinals will play 4 games with the last game starting at 1:30 pm. League admission will be charged for those attending. The Varsity Baseball and Softball Tournaments are scheduled for May 17 at Dane and Summit Fields. Times are yet to be determined.
The Track season ended on Wednesday May 7. The boys had an excellent showing capturing many 1st places in individual events and also the 4X100 Relay. The girls did not to as well as there was only a handful of girls participating this year and as a result could not score many team points. Congratulations to the Team and Coach Ziegler for their fine effort.
