Cardinal Finish Season as League and Playoff Champions

The Cardinal Football team finished the 2007 season
with a victory over St. Ed's in the Playoff
Championship game winning 28 - 12. The team was
undefeated rolling over all their opponents winning 6
straight games. The varsity defense gave up only one
touchdown all season long. In one game versus Blessed
Sacrament the team scored 60 points the highest ever at
Sacred Heart.
The offense averaged 38 points per game. The team showed great class and character in evey game and this was pointed out over and over by opposing coaches and game officials. Congratulations to the athletes, coaches and fans on one great season.
